None the Cat needs a home

Meet Mr. Max aka Max. We rescued Max in 2011 on our way to a movie, but now; we're just way to busy for him. He's a 6 year old cool guy, but prefers to be alone and is fine indoors or will just sit in the sun all day in the yard or patio. Max is on the larger side and weighs approximately 15 lbs. Max is neutered and litter box trained. He'll come around for food, but prefers his loving to be in the form of play vs cuddling. Max is all black with a few spots of white like a fawn. He does need a way to re-enter home if left in a yard that can be accessed by other animals as he gets skittish around other animals and was once attacked by a fox (another reason why he's this way). He would be fine staying indoors although be careful when entering or exiting an exterior door as he likes to run out. He absolutely must be the only cat in the house. After prolonged attempts to socialize Max with other cats, Max has made it clear that he is not interested in sharing house space with others. Take time to get to know him as he can be defensive if cornered. That said, he does not have a mean bone in his body. Getting to know Max will require patience and attention and will be immensely rewarding. I will personally walk you through everything!
